In this era of globalization and development of information and communication technology, encompassing all aspects of life, the speed to acquire information is very important to every business that we are in.
Curriculum Development and Evaluation Division(CDED) is all ears to changes evolving around us. As a division directly responsible to development of curriculum in polytechnics and community colleges, we are constantly working to provide and fast channeling curriculum related information which caters the need of our customers comprises of government agencies, lecturers, students and members of the public.
The newly launched portal was developed and still constantly improved contains information about our CDED organization, hopefully will be a meaningful reference tool to all users. The portal also contains Curriculum Information Document Online System (CIDOS) application which was developed to facilitate registered users to access comprehensive program’s curriculum for Polytechnics and Community Colleges. The users could among others, download information, share information, participate in online communication such as forum, internal messaging and chat and also contribute to curriculum evaluation on the programs currently offered in the colleges.
I hope that, via this platform, CDED could very much contribute to the creation of ‘knowledge citizen’ which is pre-requisite to the development of human capital inline with our Prime Minister’s vision.
CDED applauds and welcome constructive ideas and opinion to enhance and solidify our information management and features offered in this portal.
Finally, I invite all users to surf CDED Portal and CIDOS application, and help us to realize our vision to make it as THE CURRICULUM INFORMATION and COLLABORATION CENTRE for CDED staffs, lecturers and students at Polytechnics and Community Colleges.
